5 Cool Game References in Fallout Season 2

Only two episodes of Fallout Season 2 have been released so far, but they are already packed with so many nods to the game franchise (especially to Fallout: New Vegas, which was recently added to the GFN.AM gaming service) that we’ve decided to round up the most interesting ones for you.

Robert House

At the beginning of the second season, we get our first look at Robert House (or simply Mr. House), played by Justin Theroux. This self-proclaimed president, CEO, and sole proprietor of the New Vegas Strip was a pivotal character in Fallout: New Vegas.

Vault 24

Vault 24 was previously mentioned only in the cut files of Fallout: New Vegas, and its history remained a mystery. The new episodes reveal that it was used for brainwashing experiments intended to indoctrinate Americans with communist ideologies.

Shady Sands

In the second episode, a trader in the city of Shady Sands utters the line: "Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a Nuclear Winter." This is the most iconic NPC quote from Fallout: New Vegas.

Area 51

When the Brotherhood of Steel seizes Area 51, its members discover a frozen alien. This is a member of the Zetan race, famously featured in the Mothership Zeta DLC for Fallout 3.

Caesar’s Legion

In the finale of the second episode, Lucy finds herself in a Caesar’s Legion camp. This is one of the major factions from Fallout: New Vegas, modeled after the Roman Empire and notorious for its brutality. While the protagonist tries to pass a speech check to talk her way out of a difficult situation, Bing Crosby’s "Accentuate the Positive" from Fallout 4 plays in the background.
