Top New Releases on GFN.AM — Fall 2025

The fall season in GeForce NOW was packed with action: it featured the return of an iconic shooter series, a suddenly hyped extraction shooter, and the long-awaited release of a hardcore Metroidvania.

Here are the most important and talked-about new additions to the service.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

No year without Call of Duty: the iconic first-person shooter series is back with Black Ops 7, set ten years after the events of the cult classic Black Ops II. The main difference from previous installments is the story campaign, which can be played cooperatively with friends! Additionally, the developers have expanded the omni-movement with wall-running, brought back the good old Zombies mode, and introduced 16 maps right away for multiplayer.

Anno 117: Pax Romana

Anno is one of Ubisoft's most respected franchises. In Pax Romana, which has already set a sales record, you will be transported to the Roman Empire and take on the role of a governor to build the city of your dreams and try to find a balance between the needs of your subjects and the demands of the Emperor—you can ignore the latter, but it won't be without consequences.

ARC Raiders

The extraction shooter from the creators of The Finals stands out for its immersion in an atmospheric future world overrun by hostile robots and its emphasis on hardcore PvE battles. It’s a mix of Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown, but played from a third-person perspective and with a huge amount of interaction with other players—you don't necessarily have to shoot each other (at least not right away); you can cooperate and take down a local boss together!

Battlefield 6

Another iconic shooter series returned in 2025—Battlefield. In the new game, the authors brought back the "magic of the classics," taking the best elements from the third and fourth installments as a foundation. Specifically: a cinematic story campaign, well-designed maps for a maximum of 64 players, and a clear class system. Along with this, the shooter added several compact and dynamic modes for Call of Duty fans, as well as a free-to-play battle royale—RedSec.

The Outer Worlds 2

Don't miss the sequel to The Outer Worlds—the satirical RPG about absurd corporatists from the creators of Fallout: New Vegas. The second installment retained the signature style and humor but became darker and more epic in scope. Critics say the game improved upon the original in every way! Journey to the Arcadia star system, challenge the authoritarian Protectorate, and prevent the threat of reality rifts.

Dying Light: The Beast

This is a Dying Light spin-off in which the protagonist of the first game, Kyle Crane, returns after many years to take revenge on the mysterious Baron. The game has become the highest-rated in the franchise, and fans call it the true sequel. While The Beast is smaller in scale than Dying Light 2, it features refined dismemberment and parkour systems, and the protagonist has learned to temporarily transform into "The Beast."

Borderlands 4

After the criticism of Borderlands 3, the developers at Gearbox performed a massive overhaul and restored the series' glory in the fourth installment. This time, the new Vault Hunters must join the resistance to fight the ruthless dictator, the Time Keeper. You can expect a nearly open world, over 30 billion (!!!) weapon combinations, improved movement with dashes, double jumps, and grappling hooks—and, of course, the absurd humor we love the series for.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

After six years of waiting, we can finally take off the clown masks because Hollow Knight: Silksong is finally out. If you thought the first installment was difficult, you simply haven't played the second. Although the sequel maintains the core formula of the original, the new game abandoned the measured and methodical gameplay in favor of speed and vertical combat, and the grim and desolate kingdom of Hallownest has been replaced by the brighter and more vibrant Pharloom.
